Lisa Barlow missed ‘WWHL’ after going to ER for nail glue in her eye

Lisa Barlow recently got into a sticky situation that landed her in the emergency room, she exclusively told Page Six.

“The Real Housewives of Salt Lake City” star said that she accidentally put nail glue instead of eyedrops into her eyes after her housecleaners mistakenly put the glue where her eyedrops normally go. The containers are also the same exact size.

“It was awful,” the “RHOSLC” star told us Thursday. “I was on the phone with my girlfriend and I literally went to put my eyedrops in and it was the nail glue.”

The 46-year-old immediately rushed to the hospital after the incident this week, where she said a doctor told her, “You’re not going to be blind, but you damaged a cornea.”

“I guess there are four levels of your cornea and it went into level three,” she shared. “It scratched up my whole eye and they had to use surgical tweezers to pull out the eyelashes on the corner.”

The Vida Tequila founder said due to “amazing” technology, doctors put “stem cell over my whole cornea with a soft contact lens to do rapid healing.”

On Wednesday, Andy Cohen revealed on “Watch What Happens Live” that Barlow was supposed to be a guest alongside Jeff Lewis, but couldn’t make it because she got glue in her eye.

“It’s just an awful pain and it looked so swollen,” she said. “It looked terrible, and I’m, like, I can’t go on ‘Watch What Happens Live.’”

The reality star said she now feels “so much better,” and that her co-stars Jen Shah and Meredith Marks have reached out to check on her.

“I feel good now, it’s just uncomfortable,” she said. “I should be 100 percent by Friday.”
