All eyes are on the Senate as Democrats try to flip control of the upper chamber while also making gains in the House.
Thirty-five Senate seats are up for grabs this year, with those in Georgia, Iowa, Maine, Montana and North Carolina considered toss-ups. All are occupied by Republican incumbents.
Democrats have retained control of the House and are pushing to expand their majority with Trump’s support weakening among suburban voters. Republicans, meanwhile, have been targeting vulnerable freshman Democrats, such as New Mexico Rep. Xochitl Torres Small and New York Rep. Anthony Brindisi.
POLITICO is tracking these races along with hundreds of others around the country to keep a running list of incumbents that have lost their fight for reelection.
